Koha home
Welcome to the neighborhood library. We are honored to host. Please choose, read, and check out any books that you like. Please also respect the system that we have tried to implement to make this work for everyone.
This is not a playground. Do not hang out here or play here. Do not play with the kiosks. The library is under constant video surveilliance.
FIRST TIME INSTRUCTIONS
- On the kiosk, click ‘take books out’.
- Enter your last name
- Then enter the last 4 of your phone number
- Then follow the prompts to enter your credit card information.
We imported over your accounts from the old library but membership must be paid now and credit card added to the account before it is active.
The combination on the front door is the last 4 digits of your phone number and then #.
Once again, the only people that can be here are people taking out or returning books. Do not be here for any other reason.
If this is your first time here, please log in to your account on the kiosk and add a credit card to your account. Otherwise, you will not be able to take out books.
You will be charged the $50 yearly membership fee and your credit card will be saved for overdue fees. You will get a phone call alerting you to overdue books before being charged.
If you recently renewed your membership while it was by Ryabinsky please add your credit card anyway and let us know and we will refund your account accordingly.
You can take out up to 20 books at a time for 2 weeks. Overdue books will automatically charge your account 0.10 cents per day up to $10 per book.
Please place any books that are still from the old Hearthstone Library into the box by the near the front door since they cannot be scanned with the new system yet.
You can call us and the hotline at 732-540-1866 for information and to hear what books you have out.
RETURNING BOOKS
Books must be checked out and checked in. When returning books, books must be put back on the shelves, with matching label colors. Do not leave books anywhere else.
Damaged books should be placed in the Damaged Book Box.
BOOKS
We understand that books may get damaged during normal use.
If a book was damaged by you due to other reasons (ie, it was thrown, left outside in the rain, food), please drop off $20 at the house.
Do not remove any books from the library without checking out at the kiosk. Do not leave any books here without checking them in at the kiosk.
